Hi I’m Ian Berry.
Have you noticed that once you decide something possibility begins to make itself known to you.
Flourishing requires a commitment. First we must decide.
My speciality is helping you to clarify and decide, determine your strategy and execution plan, and then support you as you turn possibility into reality.
I began working as a mentor in the mid 1980’s as a part of my role as a corporate executive.
When I left the corporate world in 1990 I became a mentor for executives, business owners and leaders, community and sports leaders, and professional services providers.
My approach has always been human being centred. I’ve worked with over 1000 leaders, women and men, in more than 40 countries.
My focus is on helping you to be the very best human being you can be.
Ian adds value & depth to structure, people development, meetings and conversations. Mentoring sessions are always enlightening and solutions based. For any business that is needing to thrive through change, Ian can offer a range of tools to support this with a humanised approach.

Key outcomes of working together
1) Being and becoming the best human being you can be.
2) Enriching and expanding your conversation and communication skills.
3) Enhancing your positive and productive impact in your circles of influence.
As all mentoring is bespoke, let's have a conversation first to explore options and decide together what suits you best.
Please send me a text to +61 418 807 898 during Australian business hours or 7.30 - 9.30 AM both United Kingdom and Europe times.
I will call you to schedule our conversation. This precious time together gives me the opportunity to hear your story, to explore possibilities, and for you when appropriate to decide a package that suits you best.
Pay what you feel is right for you
A long time ago I embraced the concept of value based fees for my bespoke mentoring and speaking services. This meant that you and I reached a shared-view regarding the value to you of us working together.
In the past for my other services I offered a fixed fee. This meant that I was telling you the value of my services.
In today’s world true value lies in the eyes of the beholder. Today choice is precious and something to be savoured and so I feel the best approach is for you is ‘pay what you feel is right for you’. This puts you in charge of deciding the value to you.
I believe that paying a price that is relative to your income, and to the value you receive, is a fair system. Whatever amount you decide to invest is only ever known to you and me.
I realise that deciding how much to invest can be difficult and so I offer the option to call and discuss with me and we then reach a shared-view. My number is +61 418 807 898.
My Mentoring Manifesto
Meaningful for me, highly valuable for you and/or you and your cohort.
Energising for everyone.
No BS - candid, convivial, compassionate, conscious and compelling human being centred conversations.
Trust between everyone is first and foremost.
One focus, one step at a time.
Relationships are paramount.
Inspirational stories that stir hearts and inspire shifts in thinking when the status quo is no longer serving, and lead to step-ups in behaviour change, modification or nuancing.
Nifty, and never thought of before solutions to problems and challenges.
Gratitude, generosity of spirit, and remaining grounded are the foundations of working together.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Ian for close to two years in one-on-one and group settings. Ian’s unconventional in his approach (refreshing!) but works to a brilliantly simple yet powerful philosophy that centres around our experiences as human beings (shocking I know!!). He’s a purpose and values-driven mentor and team builder who I’d recommend to anyone.
General Manager – Culture & Community, Surf Coast Shire Council
We take a walk and talk for an hour or so and then have lunch. There are a number of great walks near my home on the Bellarine Peninsula. I also walk in Ballarat, Geelong and Melbourne Inner City. There's an investment required for this option. You decide what it will be after our lunch.
Walking is good for the heart, mind and soul. Nature and human to human conversation are also wonderful ways to gain wisdom.
Group/team options also available.
My gratitude to Alan Moore for the inspiration to provide this option.
